Daily routines


How do you describe your day?

There is some essential vocabulary that you can use to talk about your daily routine.

You may have learned some of these words before, as most of them are very common words

This article is divided into five parts: Morning  , Noon , Afternoon , Evening and Night . Each section includes words and phrases to talk about places, times and actions.

The most common uses of this are:

  • Wake up
  • Get up
  • Brush your teeth
  • Take a shower
  • Get dressed
  • Eat breakfast
  • Eat lunch 
  • Eat dinner
  • Go to school
  • Do homework
  • Whatch T.V
  • Go out with friends
  • Go to sleep/bed

Frequency adverbs
  • Always
  • Never
  • Usually
  • Occasionaly
  • Rarely
  • Often
  • Frequenty

Examples
  1. Ana brushes (brush) her teeth in the morning.
  2. He goes (go) to bed late
  3. She wakes up (wake up) at 5:00
